Former music manager Scooter Braun found himself in the headlines again after being linked to Hollywood star Sydney Sweeney.

Rumours about their relationship began in June when both attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding in Venice, Italy.

The whispers grew louder when photos showed Sydney and Braun enjoying time together at Harry’s Bar with Karlie Kloss and other stars.

The Euphoria star’s connection with Taylor Swift’s former manager came just months after she ended her long relationship with fiancé Jonathan Davino, with whom she spent seven years together.

For many fans, the news felt surprising, as Braun is better known for his controversies in the music world than for Hollywood romances.

The man, who has worked with many music icons, first rose to fame when he discovered a 12 year old Justin Bieber singing covers on YouTube. However, he signed him to label he co-founded with Usher in 2008, helping launch the Baby hitmaker into global stardom.

In 2013, Ariana Grande joined Braun’s management company, though she briefly fired him in 2016 before working with him again and over the years, his clients also included Carly Rae Jepsen, David Guetta, Black Eyed Peas, Dan and Shay, Psy and Tori Kelly.

Born in New York, the father of three studied at Emory University in Atlanta before dropping out to pursue a career in entertainment.

He started out as a party promoter and soon landed a position as executive marketing head at the record label So So Def when he was just 20 years old.

Despite his success, Braun’s career was never free of controversy as his long and very public clash with Taylor over ownership of her master recordings made him one of the most debated names in music.
