Music legend Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris has finally broken her silence on the rumours circulating around her late father’s upcoming biopic.
The reaction comes two days after Colman Domingo, who will be playing the family patriarch Joe Jackson in the film, praised Jackson’s daughter’s contribution in the making of the movie.
While hosting the “amfAR benefit gala” for Aids research at Venice Film Festival, Colman revealed that Paris and her brother were very much in support of the film.
“I’m excited to be here at Amfar tonight with Paris. It feels like that’s a nice way for us to be together”, he said.
On Tuesday, the 27-year-old old took it to her social media to clarify that she has “zero-involvement” in the upcoming project and that it has all been “sugar-coated” in a broader term.
In a statement, the American model said, “Don’t be telling people I was ‘helpful’ on the set of a movie I had zero per cent involvement in lol that is so weird.”
However, she did admit, “I read one of the first drafts of the script and gave my notes about what was dishonest / didn’t sit right with me, and when they didn’t address it, I moved on with my life.”
Jackson’s daughter then stepped away from the project, “Not my monkeys, not my circus.”
But, she also claimed, “A big reason why I haven’t said anything up until this point is because I know a lot of you guys are gonna be happy with it.”
The documentary film on the life journey of the King of Pop, titled Michael is slated is expected to release next year.
